Welcome to the Semantic Priming Project Homepage
Overview
The Semantic Priming Project (supported by the National Science Foundation) affords access to a large set of lexical characteristics
and associative/semantic characteristics, along with behavioral data from visual lexical decision and naming studies of 1,661 words
and 1,661 nonwords. In addition, participant characteristics include age, education, vision, gender, vocabulary, reading comprehension,
circadian rhythm, and performance on three attentional control tasks (Ospan, Stroop, anti-saccade).
The naming and lexical decision data are currently being collected from four testing Universities. To date, we have collected 1,700,864
experimental observations from 512 subjects in the lexical decision experiment. We have also collected 425,216 experimental measurements
from 256 subjects in the naming experiment
